A fine player of Classic American Fingerstyle Guitar,

was on holiday with a friend in Spain.

He drove down from Barcelona to spend two days in our cottage at Casa Capacha, Montefrio.

Besides some very interesting guitar jam sessions,

we made a trip to Granada where he showed great interest in the hand-made guitars of luthier Manuel Diaz.

And then on to fabulous flamenco at the Venta El Gallo,

in the Sacromonte caves of the Albayzin.

Concerts for hot summer nights...
For a series of weeks in August 2011

 I played my guitar instrumentals and vocals

on the patio of the Hotel Enrea, Montefrio.

Linda enjoys her fingerstyle guitar workshops with me.

She focussed on her classical technique

and song accompaniments.
