Which type of  Guitarist are you?

- I have had the opportunity in Montefrio to write and play Latin/ Jazz duets with a Spanish flamenco guitarist, Jose Antonio,

and also accompany the wonderful bossa nova singer, Olivia...
Not to mention my summer evening Hotel patio music sessions,
both in Montefrio and in nearby  provinces.

about Clive and Sue Davies...

My wife and I have lived in Spain since 2005.

We have a house Casa Capacha in a beautiful setting in rural Granada,

near the pueblo of Montefrio,

It has a self contained cottage which is used by guitarists

who come here for rest, relaxation,

and of course some Guitar Therapy with my Guitar Workshop Holidays.

Dom from London is an accomplished 'hybrid' style blues guitarist who rapidly absorbed so many of my novel fingerstyle methods.
For his second week with me, he brought along his father, Alan, who's also passionate about the guitar. The three of us ended with a great moonlit evening jam session!

Each day they walked down to the waterfalls and rock pools

  to cool themselves.

Andrew, a fine fingerstyle guitar player and composer, singer / songwriter, drove down from Barcelona

with his charming wife, Billie.
A very quick learner, so many of my fingerstyle guitar techniques were mastered by his supple fingers

during four days of my Guitar Workshops.

Chris broadens his guitar outlook with some fingerstyle Jazz and Blues, also delving into my unique 'patterns'

and 'Auto Bass' techniques.
He chose to have three hours of my Guitar Workshops each day

- in between soaking up the sunshine under blue Andalucian skies!
